Bajaj Auto India has launched Bajaj Pulsar 220 S – the naked version of the Top Selling Bajaj Pulsar 220cc DTS-i Motorcycle . Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-i S sports a bikini fairing along with a stylish looking pair of mirrors.

Bajaj Auto is targeting those bike enthusiasts who want more power but are more inclined towards “naked versions” & has come up with very aggressive pricing for this new Pulsar 220 Model. Bajaj Auto is following the footsteps of Yamaha as Yamaha Motors India also came up with a similar model for their FZ Series some time back. This means that Bajaj Auto is planning to take Yamaha FZ & TVS Apache with this new model of 2010.
This new Pulsar motorcycle 2010 is a one step ahead in the Bajaj Pulsar legacy and is going to sport some new & interesting features here and there. Due to the absence of front fairing, the bike’s weight will be lesser by few kg’s . This would help achieve a better peroformance and improved mileage.
This Naked Automobile will also be much easier to maneuver in urban traffic conditions as there is no heavy fairing on the front now.
The bike should be out on the roads by the end of January 2010.
